Senior UI Designer
As a Senior UI Designer at HumanX, you’ll turn business and brand vision into distinctive digital experiences across websites, products and digital brand experiences. You’ll be expected to understand the business, the audience and the cultural context behind a problem. This is a hands-on role for someone who cares deeply about craft, thinks beyond the brief and likes to make things, not just design screens.
We are a strategic design and tech consultancy based in Mumbai working with global CXOs who recognise that good design is good for business. Our design decisions are data-led, shaped by principles of behavioural psychology and are handcrafted by a passionate team of Experience Design specialists. We are known for our deep work and would like to think of ourselves as designers focused on business outcomes. Our team is a mix of Interaction Designers, Business Strategists, Graphic Artists, Illustrators and Developers who shape products with client teams.

What You'll Do
- Translate business objectives and brand strategy into clear visual and digital design directions.
- Bring cultural and behavioural context into the work, designing for real people rather than generic users.
- Shape visual systems through typography, layout, composition, colour, imagery, motion and interaction.
- Simplify complex products, ideas and information into clear, intuitive experiences.
- Build high-fidelity prototypes and UI systems that balance ambition with usability and technical reality.
- Partner with strategists, UX designers, developers and clients to take ideas from concept to execution.
- Use emerging tools including AI, creative coding and rapid prototyping to explore and build beyond static screens.
- Present your work with clarity, connecting design decisions back to the problem they solve.
- Contribute to critiques and raise the quality of work across the team.
What We're Looking For
- 3–6 years of experience in UI, visual, digital or product design.
- A portfolio showing exceptional UI craft across websites, products or digital experiences.
- A sharp understanding of people, culture and context, and how they influence design decisions.
- A distinctive visual point of view, with strong command of typography, composition, hierarchy and interaction.
- A builder mindset; curious, experimental and comfortable turning ideas into working prototypes or experiences.
- Enough technical understanding to collaborate effectively with developers and design for what can actually be built.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate and defend your thinking.
- Comfortable with ambiguity, ownership and fast-moving environments.
Bonus If You
- Have experience with motion, interaction design or advanced prototyping.
- Have built something outside a formal brief; a website, tool, experiment, prototype or side project.
- Have explored AI or unconventional design workflows.
