About the role:

We’re looking for a Social Media Manager who can drive both strategic content thinking and execution ownership for founder-led and brand social media mandates.

This role is ideal for someone who understands how thought leaders build credibility and influence online, someone who can shape content direction, manage platform presence, coordinate execution across teams, and build strong client relationships with equal confidence.

You will work closely with founders, leadership teams, content creators, designers, and strategists to transform ideas, opinions, experiences, and industry perspectives into impactful digital storytelling across platforms.

Beyond content execution, you’ll also drive project momentum, operational clarity, and day-to-day stakeholder management across accounts.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Thought Leadership & Social Media Management

  • Manage social media mandates for founders, executives, thought leaders, and brand accounts across platforms like LinkedIn, X, Instagram, and others where relevant.
  • Shape content direction and platform strategy aligned with the individual’s voice, positioning, expertise, and business objectives.
  • Translate conversations, ideas, insights, and experiences into platform-relevant content opportunities and storytelling angles.
  • Work closely with content and design teams to develop high-quality posts, carousels, scripts, hooks, captions, and narrative-led content.
  • Ensure consistency in tone, positioning, messaging, and publishing quality across platforms.
  • Build and manage content calendars, publishing workflows, campaign timelines, and execution roadmaps.
  • Identify relevant trends, conversations, and cultural moments that can strengthen thought leadership visibility and engagement.
  • Monitor content performance, audience behavior, and engagement trends to continuously optimize content strategy and execution.

Account & Project Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for day-to-day client communication and relationship management.
  • Drive coordination across internal teams through stand-ups, reviews, trackers, timelines, and follow-ups.
  • Ensure strong operational hygiene across dependencies, blockers, approvals, documentation, and delivery timelines.
  • Maintain clarity, structure, and momentum across multiple parallel workstreams and accounts.
  • Build collaborative working relationships with clients, stakeholders, creators, and internal teams.

Community & Ecosystem Engagement

  • Support online community-building and engagement initiatives where relevant.
  • Identify opportunities for collaborations, ecosystem participation, industry visibility, and strategic digital presence.

Ideal Candidate

  • 3–5 years of experience in social media management, account management, content strategy, personal branding, or client servicing within a creative, branding, content, or digital agency.
  • Has hands-on experience managing founder-led, executive, or thought leadership social media profiles.
  • Strong understanding of platform behavior, audience engagement, and content formats across LinkedIn, X, Instagram, and emerging digital platforms.
  • Can independently think through content angles, storytelling structures, and narrative positioning, not just execution coordination.
  • Brings strong communication skills, structured thinking, and high ownership in fast-moving environments.
  • Is highly organized and capable of managing multiple stakeholders, timelines, and moving pieces simultaneously.
  • Understands the balance between strategic storytelling, brand positioning, and operational execution.
  • Can confidently collaborate with creative teams while also managing client conversations with clarity and maturity.
  • Bonus if you’ve worked on founder branding, community-led initiatives, podcast/content repurposing, or ecosystem-building efforts.
